Pablo Picasso, one of the most influential and iconic artists of the 20th century, died on 8 April 1973. Picasso left an indelible mark on the history of painting and sculpture and extended his curiosity to other disciplines such as ceramics and poetry.

Picassian" cities celebrate Pablo Picasso with special activities around 8 April, the 50th anniversary of the artist's death

Puppet shows, music, documentaries and bullfights are some of the activities that museums and town councils in Spain have devised to commemorate, from today until 9 April, the death of Pablo Picasso, which falls on 8 April.

El Museo de Belas Artes De A Coruña reivindica la influencia gallega en la obra de Picasso en una exposición de 120 piezas
