El eco de Picasso
The Picasso Museum Malaga has received 779,279 visitors this year, which is 21% more than in 2022 and exceeds by 8% the record number of visits that the art gallery reached in 2019. The exhibitions and events organized around the commemoration for the 50th anniversary of the painter's death, as well as the rise of Malaga as a tourist destination, have boosted growth. Another of the city's art galleries, the Carmen Thyssen Museum also broke its record with more than 185,000 visitors.
