The programme Las tardes de RNE was broadcast from pavilion nine of the International Contemporary Art Fair in Madrid, ARCO. This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of the death of the artist Pablo Picasso, and, in the first hour of the afternoon, they began by talking to José Lebrero, the artistic director of the Picasso Museum in Málaga.
Then, together with Pilar Bernal, they reflect on whether art is connected to life. They connect with Ángela Fernández, who takes us through the most expensive work at the fair and, later, Toño Pérez walks through the busiest rooms at ARCO. Finally, they connect with the doctor in Fine Arts and plastic artist Antonio García Villarán, creator of a Youtube channel in which he brings art closer to all audiences.
