Picasso experts participating in a Unesco symposium in Paris on Thursday, as part of the 50th anniversary of the Spanish artist's death, will discuss how to bring his work to younger generations.
"The challenge around the work, but above all the figure of Picasso, is to bring him closer to the younger generations," Cécile Debray, president of the National Picasso Museum in Paris, told EFE at the start of the symposium at UNESCO headquarters.
That question is one of the axes of the round tables and conferences scheduled today and tomorrow in this event of the year of Picasso commemoration, in which institutions, exhibition curators, researchers and artists from several countries are involved.
