On 8 April 2023 it will be fifty years since the death of Pablo Picasso and to celebrate the anniversary fifty exhibitions and events have been programmed in thirty-eight institutions in Europe and the United States: 16 in Spain, 12 in France, 7 in the United States, two in Germany, two in Switzerland, one in the Principality of Monaco, one in Romania and one in Belgium.
National Geographic magazine presents the programme prepared for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Pablo Picasso's death, which will explore his integrative vision of European cultural heritage, his constant dialogue with other artists of his time, the rapid transition and study of languages and techniques in his different pictorial periods, and the impact of his work on contemporary art.
