With exhibitions in Spain, France and New York, "Picasso Year" promises to be the celebration that the Spanish artist was unable to have in his lifetime.

With the premise of paying him the "great tribute" that was not paid to him during his lifetime in Spain, the events for the 50th anniversary of the death of the artist Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) have begun to take place before the climax, on 8 April 2023, the half-century anniversary of the Spanish painter's death.

The "Picasso Year" already began in September with two exhibitions in Madrid, at the Mapre Foundation and the Thyssen Museum, as well as those open at the Picasso Museum in Münster (Germany), the Montmartre Museum in Paris, another at the Royal Museums in Brussels and the one that opened last week at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
