Opening of the exhibition "FERNANDE and FRANÇOISE"

An extensive exhibition dedicated to Fernande Olivier and Françoise Gilot, inseparably linked to the artist's work, opens to the public with nearly 90 paintings, sculptures, works on paper and ceramics. 
Opened in 2000, the Kunstmuseum Pablo Picasso Münster is the first and only museum dedicated to Picasso in Germany. Behind the old facades in the heart of Münster's old town, the museum houses a unique collection of 800 Picasso lithographs. Temporary exhibitions focus on Pablo Picasso, complemented by those of his contemporaries such as Georges Braque, Henri Matisse or Marc Chagall.
